Prvi Partizan (PPU) was founded in 1928 after Jakob Posinger got the go ahead from the Kingdom of Yugoslavia to move his production facility to Užice. Yugoslavia no longer exists, and neither does much of the PPU original factory for that matter, but the now Serbian company is still going strong. This round sports a 125 grain projectile, which is similar to the weight of the standard 7.62×39 cartridge that its performance is intended to emulate. The bullet’s full metal jacket is concentric enough to promote straight flight, and furthermore hard enough to stave off residue accumulation and facilitate feeding in a semi-automatic.
